{Basic Rules}
1. Follow the Rules, easy enough
2. No harassing other members, curb your own personal problems at home don't take it out here.
3. Try to keep everything here PG-13, therefore keep swearing to a minimum. I've discovered through my own sources that if you go above PG-13 to lets say, R rated, Proboards staff does find out and then they will be bugging me that if I don't take it down then something will happen to the site and that will just make me grumpy and I'll take it out on you, that's right I'm going to break rule number 2 and to that extent rule number 1....okay I think I'm done.
4. Respect your fellow members and staff.
5.This is a guest friendly place so they get to advertise and post questions in the Questions Board here, but no spamming.
6. Guests can't post anywhere else.
{Role playing Rules}
1. No one-word posts, post must be at least two hundred words or substantial enough that another member has enough to work with. So that if one member posts a decently sized thread, you don't have to match the length but don't do something measly. If you have difficulty doing this just describe the scene around you, what your character is thinking, etc.
2. You can post in first or third person, personally I prefer third person.
3. Absolutely no spamming is allowed you get caught doing it, you get a warning, get caught again you get banned.
4. No powerplaying or godmodding. So no controlling other members characters or making your own character more powerful than others.
5. You can not kill another member's character unless they hired you to do it or if they gave you permission to do so.
6. No one is indestructible, if you are in a fight take some hits.
{Character Rules}
1. As of this moment you can have ten characters, whether they're all canon, original, or a combination, it's up to you. However, make sure that you're first character is active before making your second.
2. For every character you make Canon and Original you must make a new profile/member and your profile name must be that character's name.
3. You only need to have a roleplay sample for your first Original Character. But for each Canon Character you apply for you must provide an RP sample. If you're having a hard time with it don't be afraid to ask, or for that matter any part of your bio, We'll help as best I can.
4. Your bio must be approved before you can Role-play.
5. You can't post in the Rping sections without an accepted Bio and to that extent you can't post as yourself and give random tidbits of information in certain boards or just post up your own random opinions in an active thread, it's really annoying.
6. If you currently have one or more canon characters you must RP him or her at least once a week unless you have an excuse otherwise. If this rule is not followed the staff has the right to take away your canon character so someone else may claim them. Or at least try to sign in as the character so we know you're still around.
7. If you do not post a character bio within two weeks of becoming a member, I will delete your profile.
8. If your character is going to be pregnant, you must have the staff's okay first unless you have a canon and she is already pregnant,
Rules are subjected to change over time, so keeping checking them for changes
When rules are updated as much of an annoyance it will be I am not going to state what I've changed. As you should already know the rules you should be able to tell what has been updated. However, if you honestly have no idea, then I'll oblige and tell you if asked.
